Overview

NumberForge Configuration is the NumberForge setup page: org defaults, per-object and per-field rules, preview, and activation on record save.

Prerequisites

1. Package installed with NumberForge Product Admin assigned.
2. Metadata auth completed. Required for creating fields from setup and deploying rules.

Open NumberForge Configuration

App Launcher → NumberForge app → NumberForge Configuration tab.

Setup workflow

Work through these in order. Each page covers one part of configuration.

General setup

Org-wide default country and save format. Open

Object rules

Add Contact, Lead, Account, or custom objects; turn Rules active on per object. Open

Field rules

Validation, formatting, enrichment, and output fields, including create-from-setup and Person Accounts. Open

Preview

Test sample input against a field rule before going live. Open

Saving a rule

Save configuration and deploy processing on record insert and update. Open

Phone Assistant is optional. Add it to record pages after objects and field rules exist.
