Google libphonenumber
The NumberForge Apex engine is a port of the Java libphonenumber library (v9.0.42): PhoneNumberUtil, AsYouTypeFormatter, ShortNumberInfo, PhoneNumberMatcher, the offline geocoder, and the carrier and time zone mappers. The original Java source is translated to Apex and adapted to Salesforce platform limits. The phone metadata, carrier, geocoding, and time zone data in the package are generated from libphonenumber's resource files.
